Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place, one of the largest projects that she has been a part of and which has had the highest success, is her project. Her full name is Selena Marie Gomez. The full title is Selena Marie. Amanda Cornett, and Ricardo Gomez are her parents. Selena's mom was 16 an old when her birth. The year 2009 was when Selena was cast in her first film in show business as Gianna as Barney and her Friends. She became one of those kids who played with the most well-known reptile, the purple anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena was a part of several episodes in seasons 7 and 8. The time period was 2001 to 2003. Fun fact: Selena is not the only singer who worked in Barney as well as his Friends in this time period. Demi Lovato was also part of the team that starred in the show. Selena Gomez tried out for several roles after she left Barney and Friends but she was unsuccessful.
